The best find found me!

The best find of the day found me.
A man who had always wanted to detect stopped by while I was detecting and as we talked he told me about a very significant location long forgotten to most and lost in time except to him.

He never got a machine. He is going to get his wish and we will hunt together after a little coin shooting and training on my equipment. I had only hunted a small patch 50x100 feet and there are acres for us to work in training. I am expecting to pull some silver while training and who knows what else? The recoveries he and his father made years ago just digging were spectacular. He knows the area like the back of his hand and he spent much time playing in the spot as a lad.

The interesting thing is I was going to research the location because I knew a clue about it. I have an eye witness and a historian that will fill in the blanks and can point out landmarks. He told me things already that would take months to research. We are going treasure hunting!
