    My Best Cufflinks

The first pair may commemorate Jean Pierre François Blanchard and the American doctor, John Jeffries, becoming the first people to cross the English Channel by air balloon when they travelled from Dover to Calais on 7th January 1785.

The 2nd pair may have originally commemorated the wedding of Charles II and Catherine of Braganza, but this pair are 18th-19th C

3rd . The buttons depict a male figure on horseback, with sword raised in his right hand, and have the inscription, KING OF PR (presumably King Frederick II of Prussia)

Very nice cufflinks! We see the hot air balloon pattern over here in the states, but not as well made as yours, and without the border around the rim.
