Another peace for display.
A friend of mine called me up and asked if I would like this interesting peace. He found it while plowing his field, well I think it will find its way into a display case of its own. These are hard to find, I am sure there are lots out there, but this one is in nice condition, the soil must have been sandy. Brian C.

Your right, that Axe will look really good in a display by itself! Nice friend you have there, did you get him a six-pack?

Re: Another peace for display.
Yeah that is in great shape ! It must have been in a low acid soil for it to keep that well .
Few things I love to do is , Metal Detecting for anything of the past!
Making Detectors better ! Tuning and finding ways to upgrade Detector hardware , To make them work the Best that is possable !

I did find the bowl off an earlier axe, but it has been many years since I found it and I have looked in the same field many times, but no axe, I will keep looking.

Nice PIECE of history, THer. It was in nice soil, too. Looks EF-AU to me.
Hope you find more of the early history of the country.
Can't find it if you're watching tv at home, your machine isn't on, and the head of your detector is pointed up!!
