    Too snowy to detect.

With the recent snow, the only place I've been today is the mailbox. Much to my surprise, I found a package from Western & Eastern Treasures with their April 2011, Annual "Best Finds" Issue for 2010 enclosed. And even more to my surprise, I made it again this year. A big THANKS to the folks at Western & Eastern Treasures for the acknowledgement. Although I am very proud to have dug three 1877 IH cents in a 12 month period of time (first one with the X-TERRA 705 on November 16, 2009, second on July 14, 2010 with E-TRAC and third on November 01, 2010 with E-TRAC), I'd be the first to admit that luck plays a big role in finding key date coins. But I also have to add that the more research I do, the luckier I get! I'm just waiting for the snow to melt so I can detect some spots I've lined up for what will be my 39th year of detecting. Congratulations, Digger!!!!

To find not one, but three 1877 Indian Cents is an accomplishment that very few will ever have the good fortune to accomplish!

And to make the W&E list of best finds....all I can say is, Lady Luck seems to follow you!

    Kudos, my friend!!!
