Did you ever melt it down and make that ring out of it like you thought you might do? Hope not, I hope you left it just like we see it as that is a " Once In A Life Time Find! "

We hope you and Red are doing OK, you know we think about the two of you every day!

No, we still have it DF and LDF! Now the plan is to sell it so that Chug may get a better detector! He is going to show me how to use the one he has now, and I'm excited to learn! Only problem now, is I use a cane and have problems walking, any hints out there on how to use both? Red :hello:

Even though it's been a year, St. Barbara still looks as good as the first day you posted!!! Always enjoy your posts, thanks for sharing, BS.

Red as far as the cane is concerned I don't think it will be much of a problem. I have though of getting one. My knees are not as good as they once were. I end up using the MD to give myself a push, up if I get down to dig. I keep hopeing I don't bend the shaft on the detector. It should be easy enough to swing the MD with the hand not using the cane. Also when I get out to MD regularly my knees don't seam to bother me as much. I hope the same works for you.

P.S. My Wife is also a Red, as are two Sons and Beautiful Daughter. My little girl is the baby and she is finishing collage next month. where dose the time go?
