1564 Queen Elizabeth the 1st and Gold Coin!

Here is some more of my Best Finds from the past!
I found this 1564 Queen Elizabeth the 1st coin back in 1993.
I was hunting in a wooded area with the winds blowing hard.
There was branches falling all around me & a friend.
We were just about to leave when I found it.
I also found this Arabian gold coin at the same spot in 1992!
It was bent in half and I thought it was a miller beer bottle cap when I first dug it.
I started to put it with my trash before I took a closer look at it.
Boy am I glad I did take that second look!
I will post more of my past finds soon so check back.

Yep - they were locked up. Actually I did't have time to pull out everything...the next time you come, I'll pull some of that stuff out to have a show and tell.

How many people can say they have found a coin from the 1500's?! Or a Gold coin of any kind!
I don't even think I have found a coin from the 1700's and I only have a few from the 1800's.
    Just flat out Amazing finds!
And all those finds you have on your profile picture album too!
You have found some very cool stuff over the years Bud!
