Best Finds of March 2011

Some of my best finds of last month:
Porcellain pot,15 cm in diameter,used in a home for old jewish people in Berlin.
1st home was established at july,28th,1844 in Berlin,Große Hamburger Strasse 26
A 2nd home was opened in novembre,11st,1883 at Schönhauser Allee 22

If I'da been the one diggin' & that eyeball showed up in the hole, we could have seen how far/fast this old man can run! I'm kinda funny about bodily stuff...'specially when it's outta place...if you get my drift!

Very good that your blue and white salad bowl came out unbroken and in lovely condition. I've never seen a bowl with "sawtooth" edges like this one, really nice. Are the two holes in the bowl to hold serving forks or for some other purpose? Thanks. Andi
