My Daughter's first find, Misha
Last weekend we went to visit my parents at their summer place in NE Hungary. My Ace 250 is always at hand in the trunk of my car, so when my 5 yr. old daughter got bored, I asked her if she wanted to do some MD-ing. She excitedly agreed!! After a few junky foil hits which her brother didn't want to dig, the machine let off a high pitched squeel--I thought, uhoh beginner's luck, who knows?.....well I was not quite wrong. At about 3in my stepson dug up this "Misha" pin (http://olympic-museum.de/mascot/mascot1980.htm). The little girl was jumping up and down--not of any value, but for a beginner what a thrill!!! Probably not the last find in her collection! I think she's become "infected"--that's my girl!!!!!!

Awesome, fitting find for her first......
My little guy got a few more years, right now he holds the coins for me and says Dirty, Dirty coins.

...then he could clean those "Dirty, Dirty coins"--my kids are especially "useful" in this aspect
