Just upgraded from a Garrett 150 to a Garrett GTP 1350 and decided to try my luck at the local lake on May 16, 2011. After an hour or two of hunting, I found this gorgeous Texas A&M University 2010 class ring in the sand at the edge of the bank. Luckly like most class rings, the owners name was inscribed in the ring. I was able to locate the student through the University's website and contact her. She was so excited to have her ring returned. She stated she received her ring on April 15, 2011 and went to the lake with her friends that next day. That day (exactly a month prior to the find) she said the ring was a bit big and slipped off her finger. She said she even went as far as to rent a detector with no luck. She was super excited saying she had to take a loan out to buy the ring and was still paying on it. Happy end to a day of detecting for a few Aggies!
