I would have to say that I love my precious.

Those rings are so incredible OBN. You know it would be interesting to see how that senator's term in office went. By the sounds of it perhaps he had a bad go of it and would rather not remember it. Just a thought.

OBN,

Good chunk of gold rings you've found.....I hope you have the lyme disease under control pretty nasty stuff.

I only do urban green spaces so probably about 30 gold rings over the years..

There's a couple of detectorists that make most of us look like amateurs....lol.

Hamid being one...and Clive Clynick being another....there's a few others that I forgot about but point is going after gold is a lot of work as you're well aware.

I have only found one, so it's a nobrainer, lol. Nothing special, and was found in my first year. I found none my second year.

Old Dude - they say every journey starts with a first step, or in this case a first discovery. I am a rookie (3 months and only 1 day each weekend weather depending) and I have not found much yet, but am still motivated. I did discover 1 titanium carbide ring. I am going to post it when I get a chance. Hopefully more to follow.

Think I may have one... But not entirely sure. It's very old looking, concaved on the inside, and possible emerald in the front. Anyway here's my ring finds from the last couple days... (only rings I have found of value so far!)
