1861 Half Dime
I've been MD'ing for one year using a DFX. This has been my best find.

Thats darn good for only detecting one year. Those small coins are easy to miss.

Nice half dime! I have yet to find government currency from the 19th century...still looking though!
If the elevator tries to bring you down, go crazy, punch a higher floor!

Congrats!!!! small silver is easy to miss so you did well....WTG!!! I've found seated dimes, but no half dimes as of yet.

Well, that sure blows all of my half dimes outta the water. All four that I've dug (1 Bust, 3 Seated) were holed. In addition to that, the first Seated one I found was bent double, and the last Seated one I found was barely identifiable, it was so slick!
All of mine have come in around the pulltab range. How about yours?
