    I have heard about stories like this in years past. Kugerrands turning up in salvation army buckets and they never find out who put them there. Interesting for sure.

    I think they meant it was worth over $400.00-- they are worth spot price only, and gold is now about $450.00/ounce. Still, I wouldn't mind having someone put one in MY bucket!

    Well if it went for $40,000, administrative fees to get the detectors to the bums would be roughly $28,000.
