I wonder how to use a Tuna dart.......Is it to catch them or make them easier to handle?

Wetgreenie....the tuna darts go on the end of a harpoon and are driven into the tuna, the dart staying in with a line attached to it with barrels which float as you chase the tuna. Todays darts are wired so as soon as the dart goes in they hit a switch and it electrocutes the tuna it it kills it instantly and it turns right back to the boat to be hauled out.

Greenie...you just followed it along until the tuna died and then hooked into the line and hauled them aboard. Only problem arose if the tuna sounded and pulled the barrel or keg under and you couldn;t follow them, then had to search and wait for it to break the surface again.
