    Another sweet Colonial cellar of 2011 produces many Dandy finds....

    Well around March last year using the satellite i noticed a section of woods that had a number of close penned in walls

    I found a way in through a public area and soon as i walked up to the cellar i found a Chape to a colonial buckle

    I tell you there is no better feeling than walking up to a virgin Colonial cellar

    This was a very early site not on an 1870 map..
    I feel it was abandonded around 1830 probably due to the mill manufacturing booming in the area

    It is a true Colonial site producing many Dandy buttons and some early coins..

    Got a Nova

    A Cartwheel coin i think

    Hopefully the King of Colonial coins Iron Patch will chime in

    Some early KG

    1808 largie

    And the most recent coin from the site was an
    1829 Large cent with very nice patina and barely worn

    This is what im dating the site at..

    Very nice constructed cellar with the biggest front step i have ever seen
    The front step is like a foot thick and 4 feet round..Moving these large stones was just an amazing task our ancestors acheived

    I did my last hunt at this cellar about 2 weeks ago so now im taking a break..

    No videos this time for it seems some local detectorists are watching my video's and trying to find my sites
    Violating all the code of ethics of detecting

    Best believe if they come upon one of my cellars they are gonna have a hard time making finds from my poundings

    Wow, some great finds and a sweet looking spot. I've found some buttons and a spigot? like that at a spot in the woods. I thought they were older, now I feel better about them. Gonna hit it again once hunting season is over.
