Found this about three months ago:tongue3:............7gms...... 22 Karat Victorian Gold Wedding Band ....Assayed: Birmingham England....1854...(I think maybe it was 1857, the Date Hallmark is a capitol F in a box)

BTW...that pic blows up real nice and you can see the Hallmarks clearly....Finally sold the ring, I needed a Ruger .357 more than a wedding band..!!!

I am not sure how you would date a ring other than logo and inside marks. I think I have Sommer Islands rings, but how could they have gotten here? Inside has SI and IC K. See silver color nuggets posted last month. Another ring is marked 925 and has boat/pig logo also. This appeared after Hurricane Bob. Also found was a medallion covered with rust. All good targets for a tesoro stingray. I doubt it is melted aluminum cans.
