    Afternoon Hunt

It out before the family cookout for a while longer after hydrating after the morning hunt. Hit farm field owned by family friend that dates back to early 1800's.

Nice job, the cross cannons might be a cuff link? The large cent is in great shape copper does not hold up well...

The crossed cannon pin is an Army Coastal Artillery collar disc, yours looks to be a "Type 3", and would date from 1937-43.

Anyone else notice a lot of collar discs are turning up lately? I just started a thread for them in General Discussion, would you mind reposting the pic there?

"That's me, on the beach side combing the sand, metal meter in my hand, sporting a pocket full of change"...... NOFX

I collect military relics, mainly German and American, but interested in others as well, pre 1945 .. Always interested in adding to my collection
