Of course I would have like to find it and yes with money you can buy anything (for the right price, also if you can find one for sale!) but why not buy something you love.

SPINKS grade it at VF - shows how may people over grade.

That is exactly my plan for my Coin Roll hunting....once I have enough return on my investment, I want to invest in the nicest and rarest coins I can afford. And just wait for them to appreciate in value.

Dugup, that's a really smart investment. I have been buying gold soverigns, (Victorian in good condition), whenever I travel to England but I would love to invest in something like that. You did your homework and are going to get a great return on that. Well done!

I have always thought the same way, Go for something with a lot of value and hold on to it! I wish I had done that with all the change I found in the water here in Japan, that would of been about $3000.00 and then just buy a few nice coins with it..but me and my boys just spent it on a bunch of bull! :)

the best coin in the world is the 1912 barber quarter i dug on my first day detecting. not worth much of anything, but i'll never forget the feeling that got me hooked...
