    Well, I live in Southwest Montana, but im moving to the LaCross Wisconsin area the first week of september. I can only hope ill be able to find anything good there!

    Finding a copper arrowhead I think is 1 of the most impressive items.. I wonder when that was made and by whom? Native American blacksmiths ? Interesting

    Not to dissapoint you, but they were made by the Anaconda Co. from about the turn of the century up till the 1950s. They are cast and some say "Anaconda" on them, mine is too corroded to tell if it said anything, but it is deffinatly NOT an indian artifact, but I still think its cool!

    Def looks cool. My lady has a spearhead from wa state I should post it so u can check it out, she's native American and got it from her grandfather who found it

    Great finds when you can metal detect prospect and find artifacts. Nice dove heel plate. Is that gold in a black stone?? I got my first gold this year in Tennessee,,,, could be addictive. Good post.
