I found this token at a park in Alamogordo NM. No one remebers any business called Sundance here. I would appreciate it if anyone could direct me to a person or place who might be able to ID this token's history. Many thanks.

It's a video arcade game token, c. 1970's-80's, as evidenced by the stock reverse. My guess is that it may have been issued for use with the Sundance arcade vector game produced by Cinematronics.

The Sundance game was reportedly plagued with problems and short-lived in the Cinematronics line. In fact, programmer Tim Skelly referred to Sundance as "a total dog" in the April 1983 issue of Video Games Magazine.

Another possibility is that Sundance is/was the name of the arcade chain, or a single gaming location such as the Sundance Casino in Winnemucca, NV.
