My 2nd Favorite Find of 2006

    Hello again.

Here it is, my second favorite find of the 2006 season.

My second gold coin ever, both made into jewelry items by the way. Note the 14kt gold chain that is was attached to. It's a 1858 $2-1/2 coin with a hole drilled through it, made into a pendant.

I found it on October 1, 2006 in the back corner of an overgrown field that was once a horse riding stable that had hay rides also.

Here's a link to the whole story:

Thanks for reading. HH to you all.
Here a couple photos of it if you don't want to travel on the link.

    Not too shabby!
When you get into a tight place and everything goes against
you till it seems you could not hold on a minute longer,
never give up then for that is just the place and time that
    the tide will turn.

Bob, having held that baby in my hands I can honestly say the picture just does not do it justice!! Maybe you can do a photo that is at least 480 pixels wide. 800 would look great. That is an awesome find.
