Not all treasures are in the ground. I can't take a photo of this yet. It is a copper medal dated 1874-1937 from the San Francisco Mint. It even has an s mint mark also a portrail of the San Francisco Mint building. This is on the obverse. On the reverse is a spread eagle over a map of the U.S. and the Treasury Department above that. I found it in an antique shop for $8.00. What is it actually worth?

Forgot about my Saxon Penny, Eadgar pre-reform, circumscription cross type. 959-972... Bit nibbled on the flan, but seen worse. I hope to top this coin in 2013, but it might be a tough ask.

Mine has to be my Union Officer Sword Buckle, found in the school yard across the street from home.
