Not with these!
These are the powder flasks I've managed to find over the years and I finally gathered them all together to put in their own box.
A couple of them belong to sites I've documented and have a code number.
Man these get beat up! Between the plow, numerous wild animals, and probably cows, horses, and maybe even an ox cart trampled over them!
The one on the top row, second from left is very thick and heavy compared to the rest and is the only one that didn't split at the seams.
There's 5 complete, (if you can even call them complete!) 3 halves, and two pieces of one.
Even though they're a little flat, these two flasks are in the best condition ......
I'd love to see your powder flasks! Even in pieces! Post them please!
Has anyone ever found one in perfect condition?
Sorry in advance if there's a "post your powder flask" thread somewhere. I don't recall if there is.
