Hello everyone! Recently started detecting, and have already discovered some excellent items. First notable find is a 1773 KGIII halfpenny, found about 200 yards from my home near an abandoned barn. Next are a 1941 quarter, and 1952 Franklin half dollar..also a 10k filled U.S Marines ring all in my front yard...on a woods excursion dug up a 1803 draped bust large cent in what looked to be a burned down silo of some kind? Also a 1941 winged liberty dime and an old Connecticut license plate from 1956...Needless to say I'm hooked on detecting. Looking forward to more discoveries..Happy hunting!
