Hi all, I have been hunting around a goldmine , Most of the old site is gone but the foundations from the 3 up-grades still exist and one old hand studded iron plate Lancashire Boiler (wood fired)
First plant was installed in 1863 and the second in the late 1880's .The third was during the Great Depression. tailing dumps and some miners huts ruins from the first gold rush in 1851. The gold mine from the pics ran from 1854 till 1939. There's a lot of pics .

An 1894 goldminer's and engine driver's medal and pic of the mine which on is the face of the medal and a few of the Winders and Machinery used .

To give you an idea what you are looking at in the machinery shed . All was designed and built in local foundries.
