Forgot this one it's hard to see but the coins in the gold box are old wheats and one roached Indian head. The dates on the mercs are 1918 and 1942 and the buffalo nickels one looks to be 1919 IMO and the other is a no date.

Thanks world! That Plymouth badge was under a few inches of leaves near a 100year old hill climb. It came up as a zinc cent lol. I have seen it on eBay in similar condition for over 100 bucks but I don't plan to sell it.

Great finds...must have been exciting digging so many different items!

It was great and the reason for it is a nice fellow I met at a park my very first day out MDing tipped me off to a great spot. It was a early 1800,s homesite that had been long abandoned the catch is that it was a dumping site for years (judging by the finds until about the 60s) before they posted a never of signs forbidding it with large fines being the consequence. That of course blessing and a curse. While many of my cooler and a few of my more valuable finds are from that era it has made the task of getting to the older artifacts a arduous task to say the least. I still have plenty more trash (and treasure I hope) to dig before the real goodies i suspect are still there begin to show themselves.

I originally thought it was a label for mens tonic.

Nope, I have no explanation as I do not have a beard. I mean maybe there is a reflection from the TV bouncing off the glass cabinet then the glass bottle but I have tried to recreate any image on that bottle and can not.

You are seeing the corner of the jar of cents behind it. GodBless Chris

I don't see it. I have not moved anything and I can not repeat that image. I'm sure there's a explanation I'm just not sure that is it.
