    Finds with my new M/D

Before I joined here and got good advice from everybody, I bought one of those "Treasure Hunter MD3010" detectors off of ebay. It said the MSRP was $700.00 (yeah right), and it's not reeaal bad, but not the greatest. I paid about $80.00 for it, so I don't think I got smoked too bad. It does have a digital screen on it where it tries to ID targets. If it shows a penny or a nickel, 98% of the time it is correct. Everything that shows as a quarter has been trash 100% of the time. And the depth reading is pretty accurate. I'm going for the Garrett Ace 250 as soon as I can afford it.

Here are my finds after using it for something like 25 hours total. I found and dug a LOT more junk and some horseshoes (an old wagon trail cuts through my property), but I didn't incluse that stuff in the pic. I , along with a couple friends have a lot of super-old houses and properties to hunt.

Oh yeah, forgot to add that the 5 top things are rocks or melted metals of some kind. The top right one has gold in it, maybe a couple others do as well.

scotto!! You might be a little disappointed but them-there are some cool finds! I LOVE the pocketwatch!!!

You know, a lot of people have $1000.00 detectors and STILL dig every signal finding just the same things your finding... so hang in there!

I'm curious about the top right item. Looks like a fish tail at the end from the photo angle. Is it?

    Thanks,
    Stacey

Hey Ed, I used to live in Sycamore! I detassled corn at Dekalb-Pfizer Genetics with Cindy Crawford!

And it's not a fish tail Stacey, kinda looks like one though.
