Hello all,

I've been metal detecting now since February and I gotta say I really love the hobby. I started with a Minelab X Terra 705 and just upgraded to an etrac 2 months ago. I must say this forum and YouTube videos have been a great help for learning this hobby.
Here are most of my good finds for my first six months detecting...

My oldest coins a 1838 large cent, and a 1782 half kruetzer

Over 200 wheat Pennies and three Indian heads..there's a few other random coins in the bag too.

41 silver coins including a 1874 seated dime and 1950 Franklin half dollar.

Its been a great six months and i appreciate everyone who has helped me, either with advice or the great videos some of you put out on YouTube.
Thanks for taking the time to look.
Happy hunting everyone!

Wow TMac! I don't know how you do it! I doubt I could come away with that much so quick even if wore a mask and used a gun! LOL

amazing finds, you're just knocking those coins out with your ETrac, and the 705 is no slouch either. I went to a school built in 1920 today for almost 4 hours, 1 clad dime and 2 zincolns.

I'll just keep at it, keep up the awesome work!

Thanks for the kind words mcclod! I would say that school is hunted out if you only pulled 3 coins in 4 hours..keep varying your spots until you find a good one then just pound it out.. Good things will come.
