I remember in first or second grade the teacher told us boys we are not to bring anymore Tootsie Toys for show and tell, she's seen enough and wanted us to bring things that are more interesting. What the heck else could you bring? You got a new tootsie toy at least twice a month if your mother thought you were being good. Well when the Matchbox cars hit the market, Tootsie were out of demand and when Hot Wheels came along, it was all over for Matchbox and I was getting a bit to old to collect toys like that anymore, but did think the Hot Wheels were pretty neat. Sure wish I'd collected some of those early cars and kept them in mint condition. Neat Stuff!

I didn't find them. I like to go to antique stores and toy and train shows. The highest I paid for one of them is $5.
