Several months back I recovered this 1920-1926 IRS Prohibition Agent Badge. The attachment pin is missing and there is no more plating or enameling left, just a nice patina. The number 1025 is stamped on the back and I understand there were 1520 agents originally assigned to this department under the Volstead Act, the beginning of prohibition in America.
