You are very lucky to live somewhere that treasures like those can be found. Where I live I am still waiting to find my first pre-1964 silver coin. Nice finds!

You know those diggers guys on TV detect and I think they live in MT. They have one show where they had detected around Helena. There are some old gold mines outside of Helena that may be worth detecting. I have explored some of those old camps but not did any treasure digging.

Yes they live about 20 miles from where I grew up. If you remember that Helena episode, you know that they didn't find much and spent half the show gold panning.
