    printing plate

    I found this plate in a vacant lot in Southport N.C. It says NEW FARM ENGINE HAS BUILT IN HEATER FOR WATER. RUNNING OF ENGINE FURNISHES WATER FOR WASHING MILKING UTENSILES. PRETTY NEAT I THINK.WONDER HOW OLD IT IS? A friend suggested I go to the library and try to fing the actual ad on microfilm but i havn't had the time yet. I'm having to much fun digging.

    That is one super find... How big is the plate? There must have been an old printing press somewhere on the property...

    It's 2 1/8th" x 3' (roughly)
