That is a beauty. A rare date and great condition doesn't happen very often with old coppers.

Impressive coin, especially as a detecting find! Any other largies come from the area? If the conditions treat one coin that nice chances are if there are others there they are just as nice!!

Very nice coin. I found an 1804 Half Cent, & if I were to have it graded It would probably grade 0. It has just enough detail to get the date. Looks a lot like doninbrewsters coin above.

Both two largies sitting on the lock in the collage photo were dug within minutes, and within feet, of each other. They were both underwater, except the 1804 was in more of a clay/sand.
