Welcome to T-Net. Congrats on the finds.

Where in DR do you hunt? Water or dry land? Do you know if there are any restrictions on detecting?

I try to get down there every year or two but I have never brought my detector with me. I'm thinking about bring it next time which will not be until the end of 2008 or early 2009.
We will see...

There is no laws for metal detecting, you can bring it with out problems, if your going to detect in the beach you can find a lot of stuff. I haven't detect much in the beach, I Dive with my excalibur and relic hunting with MXT. Almost all my detect is for relic (colonial stuff) XVI and XVII century, if your coming let me know maybe we can meet
