initial id base on what i've seen a cubic crystal near the middle.. I think its a diamond. and its also really hard..80cts

not yet since we dont have realiable labs here in our country.. but i can find same structure as to diamond, i discounted quartz base on the structure..

What country do you live in? You could just take it to a reputable jeweler, not salesperson, but an actual jeweler or a local lapidarist. They can tell you what it is.

im from philippines.. i can partially say its diamond since i can see cubic form of crystal near the middle.. this stone was once attached to another stone.. i still have more for id..

Specific gravity is a very easy and good way to begin.

Quartz is 2.65 and diamond is 3.52
