I've been working on some of the hundreds of pics that'll be going in my colonial artifact book that I've been working on for the last year, and finally pulled out all my silver from the numerous displays for a group shot. Can't believe I'm approaching the 200 mark, with half of those coming in the last 5-6 years. This is a large file so you can click on it a couple of times to zoom in to see better details for the individual coins. And my slabbed Lord Baltimore sixpence is not included in this pic. Enjoy!

All that English Silver without touching English soil is amazing Bill. Having seen your displays you must have spent a lot of time digging through cases and disrupting everything. But, dang that picture was worth it! I wish you continued success both hunting and with your book buddy.

That's quite a collection Bill. Have you caught up to Stan yet?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it looks like you have very few of the Pillar style Spanish milled coins.

I just re-read this article the other day (actually I had never read the whole thing). I found it interesting that the merchants of Richmond banded together to try and eliminate the use of cut pieces,

I could never get an exact count from Stan, and I know he was way ahead of me at one time, but I've done a lot of catching up over the last few years. Overall I'd say its probably a toss-up, although Stan has sold or given away some of his. He definitely has me beat in the cob department, but I have a big edge with hammered silver thanks to that one site.

are you counting the pieces of a coin as a whole one?
Heck if I cut up all my silver coins I would have ummm still zero!! so I guess you are better than me after all..
