photo.JPG photo-2.JPG photo-3.JPG I found this beauty in January of this year. It came from a new land site in the fl keys where survivors of the 1733 fleet disaster made landfall and camped. I now know where these babies live. The even rarer 1732s should also be here. The coins I have found on this site are in great condition because they have been buried above the high tide line. I will post pics of some of the other cobs that I have found here as soon as I can.

Did you happen to know Roy Ridgeway from the Stock Island area, who sold Sea Shells on Atlantic Boulevard just off White Street in Key West? If so and if you know, whatever happened to him, his' family and his' collection of bottles and coins?

I know some of the guys down there really got some fantastic bottles diving the Harbour back in the day. Wish I knew mr ridgeway. I would love to see that collection.

Yes I have spent way to much time there.i got some pottery shards and a sail grommet yesterday.ill post pics today sometime. Thanks to all for the compliments. King tide is helping the spot.
