My favorite token

This token was found in a park in Iowa along the banks of the Mississippi river. Doing a little research, I was able to determine that it was a token that was good for one drink on the steamship (Packet) "Memphis and St. Louis Packet Co.". This packet line was in service from 1859 to 1879. After 1879 it was re-named "St. Louis and Vicksburg Packet Co.".

Very Nice token! I would do some more searching all along that river. I bet you'll find a lot more of those tokens.
