We started hunting in January 2005 we have found over 2000 clad coins...not counting old coins..

thanks for the replies.we usually hunt 4 to 5 days a week and this year has been really good because the weather here in indiana hasn't let our areas ground get frozen solid.a week of 20's and 30's then its in the 50's and up.next year will be different i am sure so we are taking advantage every chance we get.tomorrow we are hitting the old mill site then probably a soccer field nearby for some quantity and possible jewelry.

yes we are going to tumble them.We have a single barrel tumbler but we are getting a double barrel in the next week or so.

we go out about 5 days a week.last year we found over 6000 clad along with alot of wheats and silver and rings.we hope to top every total this year.

Thats a lotta digging! I don't know if you guys are married but if you are and you get guff like many of us do for spending time out in the field with our machines take the cash, take your girl out and at the end of dinner tell her how you paid for it.
