1921-D Mercury Dime Key Date

This one came out of the cache I just got. I finally got sick enough with the allergies to sit down and get some pics of it. Went back to the site today in the horrid wind and all I got were a few modern bullets. Well, here it is! See the other thread for the back story. This is from the Pennsylvania farm Darryl and I and a few others have hunted. Ii thought they had planted this week, but the cold weather and the rain put it off a little. Thanks. It's getting warm here, so for the rest of the spring and summer will be doing lawns and beaches. Almost all of the fields have been planted.

Ain't easy. Went to the beach for a short hunt. Got enough fishing sinkers to last all this year and a bunch of clad. As cold as it's been this week a lot of people were swimming.

Even though worn, it's still worth a bit of $$. Congratz.

I got a 21-D once, and poo-poo'd it as not an "S" mint . D/t we mostly get S mints here and d/t S is normally the better mint, eh ? The exception in the merc's is the 21-D, of course. I was surprised when I looked that up in the coin-book. Floated mine on ebay, and got north of $300 as I recall

I don't think it's worth a lot, the equivalent of 4 people at McD's these days. Probably good condition.
