UPDATE: I sold this ring in Miami Florida for $9,200 8)
When you get into a tight place and everything goes against
you till it seems you could not hold on a minute longer,
never give up then for that is just the place and time that
the tide will turn.
$18,500.00 is that a verbal value from a jeweller?did someone lose it and you returned?
someone lost it and I have no idea who..
Yes it was value from a local jeweler and he helped me get to the
people in Miami Florida to put it on the sale block.
he also helped me shipped it and put his papers in with it with his notes of the info of the ring .. he knows the people in Miami that runs the sale He is call me from Miami when my ring is up for the sale and so i can hear the sale going on..
the people in Miami said the ring should sale for very close to $10k to
$15k .. I am going to buy a new truck with the money
maybe you can get a "ringman" personal plate for that truck.
Now that would be funny, over here a ringman means something completely different.

Nice find...you really should delete this thread though. You just provided a description of the ring, with picture and value, you stated where the ring was found and when the ring was found. I could now file a claim for that ring and probably be able to get it from you before you have it sold. There are lawyers out there who do this every day. I can describe the ring, I can value the ring, I can tell you when and where I lost it...it's MINE!
If the elevator tries to bring you down, go crazy, punch a higher floor!
Morris,
I just found your post. CONGRATULATIONS!!!!
What an amazing find.
You will NEVER give up the hobby now.
