My Oldest Dog License 1895

Howdy Folks. Sucking down some Espresso Roast getting ready to go out in the wind and cold. Just thought I'd practice some more photography with my Olympus TG4. This is my oldest Dog License Tag. It is from the town of Dixon, Illinois and dated 1895. They have been taxing us to own dogs for a LONG time! Have a great day! Kurios1

Funny how some people think it is just fine to work UP a reason to tax, Make you pay them for anything, By the laws of Man it is a wrong practice that WE have gotten used to in order to be in society. The reason I Loved Alaska so much? Because there is no one standing around trying to tell you what to do, now there are TOO Many Cops and State Money Grabbers.

Yes life can eat up lots of time. It never seems to slow down one bit either.
Though I rather wear out than rust out.

A great find !
I really like finding the old Dog Tax Tags.
I've found around a half a dozen from the 1920's & 30's.
The oldest one I've found so far is 1918.

I did get a 1962 license yesterday for Mahoning county Ohio
