Found my best cross ...

Hey folks! Found this gold Christian Orthodox cross in Dominican Republic during my vacation last month. The day was January 7th that is Orthodox Christmas day. This is my third gold cross found and I consider it my best one! The weight is 2.5 gram. 585=14K . Jewelers from Russia referred this cross to work of Aldan Gold manufacturer in 1996. Thanks.

Congratulations! gold is always a pleasure to find. This cross was produced in the 80's, as the brand stands the USSR.

Thanks Alex. I think you re right cause of the USSR symbol is there whereas the country collapsed in 1991 so 80-s is more likely than 90-s.

Thanks Bro. I also spend time for checking what confession it was related to cause in Russia there are many different confessions. The difference between Catholic and Christian orthodox is the number of nails on crucifix. Catholic ones has three nails whereas Orthodox cross has four nails. As we can see there are four nails so it is the Christian Orthodox cross 100%.
