1922 P gold sovereign

[Canadian Detector]

I went detecting at a local beach here in Ontario Canada and the first 10 minutes out found this Gold sovereign. Was not expecting to find this here. The town I live in has a population of about 8 thousand, I have detected this beach a number of times and was I surprised to find this 5 inches down. My DFX said it was a nail man I wish all nails looked like this lol. Well thanks for looking.

Canadian Detector, very nice finds.... I just love coins They tell you a lot about places, people and many other things.... they are an history lesson.

very nice sovereign if my memory is correct its about the size of a us nickel right? In Unc they can fetch close to $90 on ebay.

yes it is matthew 90 bucks on ebay doesnt seem like much and I think it looks better in my coin album sure got the heart pumpin when I dug this up Didnt ever think I would find one of these here in canada
