I hunted a house circa 1850 and had quite an interesting day of finds. The most unique was the circa 1940's sterling baby rattle (with before & after pics after cleaning). I have yet to research who the rattle belonged too but the initials J A B should reveal who lived there at one point. Next was the circa 1940's metal lipstick case (with lipstick still inside). Revlon was the maker. I also found a women's compact case lid that I believe is circa late 30's early 40's IMG_0392.JPG IMG_0383.JPG IMG_0386.JPG IMG_0387.JPG IMG_0395.JPG IMG_0396.JPG IMG_0397.JPG IMG_0398.JPG (I have found another identical to this one...what are the odds). I also found a very nice 1919 Merc (no pic). Was quite the day!!!

Rattle is superb and the Revlon Case is a looker as well, I'd think above the common every day case for it............63bkpkr
