In no particular order. I thought I'd chime in and post a few of my favorites here. It's kinda sad I can remember exactly where I found it and the day but not the YEAR.

IMG_0002.JPG 1774 Gold Guinea from the Faithful Steward Shipwreck off the Delaware Coast

IMG_0473.JPG One of several Union breastplates.

IMG_0567.JPG Virginia style CSA buckle in brass.

IMG_1169.JPG A group of Miocene Fossil whale vertebrae all found together.

View attachment IMG_0175.jpg Revolutionary War cross belt plate.

View attachment IMG_0306.jpg $5 US gold coin

IMG_1147.JPG 6 pound cannon ball, Revolution

IMG_1180.JPG Small gold from my own property!

IMG_0437.JPG Kepi hat letter 1 from my own property! Go figure!

View attachment IMG_0672.JPG A favorite 17th century buckle.

IMG_0045.JPG CS Tongue and Wreath buckle, with mud.

IMG_1408.JPG More gold.

View attachment IMG_1550.jpg Early colonial coins.

View attachment IMG_1554.jpg Very early 18th century lock to a musket.

DSCN0394.JPG Revolutionary war stirrup.

Plus a bunch of other stuff I can't find the pics for right now.

View attachment IMG_1412.jpg Colonial stuff.

IMG_0109.JPG not very clean but KG II or III copper flattened by Indians into pendant and found at Battle of Cherry Valley, NY.

MY FAVORITE -

IMG_1335.JPG IMG_1336.JPG The excavated top to a late 17th century locking tobacco box. An exact non dug example, which I imported from Germany, sits next to it. We found broken bits from the bottom.

IMG_1337.JPG 17th century silver plated bronze spur! Now that's different! Tommybuckets and I found this together on a dig.

IMG_1338.JPG Trio of matching late Civil War Eagle I buttons with the correct CW backmarks.

I also dug over 300 Civil War bullets, most drops and now about 200 Civil War buttons, mainly eagle buttons.

Yes, I'll have to go take another pic of my bestest one! I'll do that very shortly. Couldn't find it in the computer.

Thanks. I'm working over to the kitchen vacuuming and when I get to the other side of the house will get the last two photos up.

Thanks! I have more pics. I apparently am going to have to rephotograph them, in the am! Just found a 17th century spur with Tommy Buckets. Haven't even posted it yet. Today I dug an old door key with the word "California" on it. I guess I own California now. Anyone want to buy it?:laughing7:

More great finds. I appreciate the offer, but I just spent a boatload of money. I just bought some ocean front property in Arizona. The guy was great to deal with. He threw the Golden Gate in for free, just because I bought that. Bless his heart.:laughing9:

The key is still in the truck. I sort of have to clean the truck out...

What a great mix of Civil War and Rev War relics....my two favorites are the CSA buckle and the CS Tongue and Wreath...but I would love to dig a gold coin as well. Thanks for sharing the photos.
