Hey All,

Hope this one hasnt been done before. Really enjoyed the lead seals and the locks posts lately. Like buttons, I know theres plenty of amazing cuff finds. Only managed to dig 3 my whole "career". The Navy cuff doubles as my only Rev-war find, silver rose of the same era, and the square brass one was in a union camp/newly construction site, in a fresh machine cut of over 2 feet! And it was another 3 inches down to boot! I bet some nice gold ones have been found. When you get a chance, post em up!!

Thanks!

The cufflinks thing has been done before on this forum. You willl have to search to find it. Here is an old group shot I tried to take. I have found quite a few since then.

Thanks Steve, guess I should of dug deeper first. Glad you posted anyway, those are awesome, the Washington cuff needs to be frequently re-posted anyway! Didnt know that coins were re-purposed for cuffs so much.

My best 2, sorry about the huge picture of the silver one. Pretty sure it’s a Tudor rose, dug it out of a cellar hole here in Massachusetts

Caretaker, those are great and look pretty old. Have yet to dig a pair. Wonder if theres significance to the amount of stars on the brass one?

Here's one I found a while back. It features a large sailing ship and reads "VICTORY" across the top. I believe it to depict the famous British warship H.M.S Victory, which was Admiral Nelson's flagship in the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805!

Here are my older silver ones. Have a few modern ones as well. Got a bunch of old copper ones but none are really nice. You rarely see gold ones but I was fortunate to find one a few years ago. Came from a field that only produced late 18th century finds so Im pretty sure this one dates to that period or perhaps a tad later. It looks to be at least 18kt

The cuff link on the upper left was dug in a Confederate camp here in Virginia. The rest were also dug in colonial sites here as well.
