7 diamond 14 K cocktail ring

I thought this was costume jewelry until I got it home and was able to scratch the bathroom mirror with it.
Took it to a jeweler who said it was from late 1800s to early 1900's and called it a cocktail ring. Jeweler said the diamonds were "old mine cut " stones.
Unfortunately one diamond was missing when I dug it, but beggars can't be choosy !

It was found in the front yard of an old high school that was built back in the early 1900's and operated at least until the 1960's.
