Having a little trouble with the pictures. Anyway - Just wanted to show you what can be found in a public park. A park that has been hunted hard in the past. I worked an area approximately 10 acres in size next to a creek in the park. Supposedly there was no civil war activity in this little town according to the experts. The proof is in the pudding. I will not show any of these to the locals - they might shut this area down to detectors. My key to success is very simple - slow down - work in smaller areas - and be persistant!

Nice finds.

Do you know what the little key at the bottom of picture two is from? I got one from a local park recently, kinda looked more pretty than practical??

I believe the little key is from a lockbox. Young ladies would lock their valuables, diaries, and journals in their lockboxes to keep out prying eyes. Of course that's a guess!
