This is my best find so far

I found this while detecting
it is my best find to date.
I took it to a coin dealer and he tested it and it is gold.
looks like the amethyst was dipped in it.

any now when i have a day of detecting with no great finds I come home and see this and know one more good find is just around the corner......
might be a big block but its ahead.
I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
I thought for sure I finaly had a nice Banner item when I posted it in todays finds a while back but I guess not.

Very nice, it's not unusual to find quartz and gold together but that is an outstanding specimen. Congrats!
