Hi Flemishman

Those look like nice finds. i do not recognized exactly what they are though... some look roman and others? Could you share a description of these coins?

Thanks for sharing with us

Happy Hunting

sorry , lol , about the explenation :)

1st coins is a belgian 10 centiemes from around 1950
2e coin is a " duit" probably from the year 1662
3th coin is a coin from 177x , can't figure out last digit anymore , pre-belgian
4th coin is probably a medieval coin, sadly undeterminable , but nevertheless i treasure this coin as it must be very old
on the collection pic, there is a 1851 coin ( with the lion ) from belgium leopold I
a nail that is undetermined , a quality led ( upper right ) middle left is a 1928 belgian coin and middle right is a belgian soldier button from WWII..
i've been detecting for about 3 months now... started with an F2 but i swapped it for an ACE 250.
i don't get much time to go hunting , but i never return empty handed when i go out....
and you know.. everything i find that is older then me, i consider a relic from the past, grin

Hi Flemishman,

Very nice looking finds there. My two boys are dying for me to get them their own detector so they can join me on my hunts. Will probably pick up one of those garett ace 250s...do you really like the machine?

Personally what ever you used to clean them, its too harsh.

I left a few roman coins in the electrolysis machine for too long and they came out looking like that....the patina was gone along with some of the metal. Still very nice finds but I agree on the harsh cleaning...HH
